NXX - A powerhouse.

This NBD is located on the periphery of the Willow Grove Naval Air Station, north-west of Philadelphia. The tall (~40') 'phone poles supporting a top section of probably 200 feet long, over probably a decent ground, and as well-maintained as military beacons tend to be, make NXX something of a powerhouse beacon. As this is written, a large controversy is raging over whether Willow Grove NAS will be closed under the recommendations of the BARC base-closing committee; this would have obvious implications for NXX.
