One always has to be somewhat circumspect tracking down NDBs; sometimes they are very much on private land, or within a high-stakes security area like an airfield. This one however is the scariest to date. It is well in the middle of nowhere, Virginia, tucked away behind properties at the end of a 'U' shaped lane, itself off a minor country road. And I think the owners of the property just in front of the beacon bred pitbulls. Interstate 95 never looked so good as after that escapade.
