AMRAD, a Washington D.C. area based experimental organisation, were granted a Part 5 FCC license; two active stations were WA2XTF/6 and /12 at 136.450kHz. This is a snapshot of the former. For quite a while, they were the only signals to be chased in or around the 136kHz band, and it was a matter of some considerable jubilation to copy them for the first time.
